The digested cherries are then collected from the forest floor and processed to ensure that they are free of contamination. After being washed and pulped, the recovered coffee beans are finally sun-dried.

Kopi Luwak is a rare and sweet coffee from the Indonesian island of Sumatra. This coffee is produced in Indonesia from the best Arabica varieties, from plantations located in the Sumatra region. It is home to many farms spread out over difficult to access hills and offers a variety of climates to produce different types of coffee. Most of the coffees are produced by traditional methods, which gives them rich and varied flavors. Sumatran coffee is generally known for its deep, comforting flavors, cocoa and nutty notes.
